Book Title: The Artist’s Way
I recently wrote an article on the topic of creativity. And in the process of writing, I came to an unexpected conclusion. It turns out that before you develop creativity in yourself and apply techniques, you just need to develop creativity in yourself.
Creativity and creativity are very similar in meaning. However, creativity is a more advanced level of creativity. And if a person has not been doing anything creative recently, then it will be very difficult for him to find a creative solution to the problem (or task).
For example, when I started writing articles, it was some kind of hell. One article could write for two days, rewrite a hundred times, add, subtract words. The text was full of cliches, long, heavy sentences and a sea of water. Yes, there is also an almost complete lack of good ideas. The process of writing articles is a purely creative process, which means that I needed to pump my creative muscles.
On the Internet, I found reviews of Julia Cameron’s book The Artist’s Way, for people looking for their own creative path. The book is written in the form of a training that lasts three months. During this time, you need to do daily exercises, write morning pages and lead yourself on creative dates.
It was not possible to buy a paper version. As luck would have it, the book was not in any online store. And it wasn’t even on the Internet then.
And now, a miracle happened! The book appeared in Ozone! Naturally, now I have it at home. For the third week now I have been doing tasks from this magic book, creating on the sly. New ideas appear, fresh thoughts, I began to think outside the box! It helps to broaden the horizons of possibilities, makes your thinking flexible and even sets you up in a positive way.
In general, if you have problems with creativity, be sure to take this training. At least it won’t get any worse!
As Albert Einscheit said: “Imagination is much more important than knowledge.”
I hope my recommendations will help you in such a matter as the development of creativity.
